The artists

We are a group of artists and makers (professional & amateur) living and working in the beautiful Redlake Valley, near Clun in South Shropshire.

We formed a group in 2011 to put on an exhibition of work in Chapel Lawn village hall.

Our work spans a variety of arts and crafts, from textiles to painting (oils, acrylics, watercolours), drawing, photography, hand-printed books, print making, card-making, sculpture, dioramas, jewellery and stone carving.

Our inaugural show was held in September 2011 in Chapel Lawn Village hall and we put on our second show in September 2013. We held a successful Winter Fair in November 2014 in the village hall.

The Redlake Valley Artists all live and work in, or have close connections to, the Redlake Valley in South Shropshire; some are newcomers but others have lived in the area for many years. Please click on the name links below to learn more about the artists and makers in the group and their work.

Ann Arnold: We are very saddened to announce the death, on 28th December 2015, of Ann Arnold. Ann was a great supporter of our group and her beautiful work graced our first two exhibitions. She will be very missed by us all.
